Training Center

The PRAPOPOULOS - TDP Volos facility is a joint venture between ‘The Drone Project’ UAS academy and ‘PRAPOPOULOS’ (a distributor of DJI Agricultural drones). The main training facility is located at the heart of agricultural production in Greece, and particularly in Volos city, at the foothills of Pelion Mountain, the origin of Centaurs. A secondary training facility is in Patras, Western Greece.  

The Drone Project is the only UAS academy in the entire country which is founded by experienced helicopter pilots and can meet the training needs in the rapidly growing environment of drones, while transferring to the newly introduced UAS operators the necessary aviation education and leading them to a successful and safe drone path.

The commercial drone industry is a newly presented and rapidly growing field. This increase led us to the need of providing formal and valid training, through our highly qualified and experienced personnel.

The total approach and the curriculum, cover all the necessary knowledge and skills for the most efficient use of drones in the agricultural production chain.

We develop innovative ideas and methods, achieving premier use of drones in crops and we currently collaborate with university departments, so that our methods are certified by experts.

We are looking forward to share our experience and knowledge with every UAS operator who is willing to take part in our training programs.
